Phil Loughlin is a Managing Director and Partner at Bain Capital Private Equity in Boston, where he also leads the firm’s Financial & Business Services vertical and is a senior member of the Consumer vertical. His investment remit, as reflected in external deal-flow data, spans retail and consumer internet plus fintech from seed through Series B, with a typical investment range of $1M–$100.0M. He joined Bain Capital in 1996 and has spent more than two decades backing founder-led and consumer-facing businesses. Earlier, he was a consultant at Bain & Company and held operating roles at Eagle Snacks and Norton Company.
