Paul Zurlo is Partner and COO at Bain Capital Ventures based in Boston. He oversees strategy for all administrative functions—including compliance, finance, legal, HR, marketing, and investor relations—for the Ventures & Crypto divisions. Zurlo focuses on investments in data services, enterprise applications, and infrastructure, typically at Seed and Series A stages with check sizes from $1M to $100M (sweet spot ~$25M). His most recent known portfolio activity includes backing companies like Futuredontics. Prior to his VC career, he was COO of Mercer Outsourcing, President of GoldK, CFO of MCK Communications (which he helped to IPO), and began as a consultant at Bain & Company.
