Owen Reynolds is a Venture Partner at Expon Capital, where he joined in 2018 and grew from Associate into a senior investing role. Through Expon’s seed strategy (Digital Tech Fund), he invests at the seed stage in startups with early customer validation, with focus areas including cybersecurity, FinTech/RegTech, big data, digital health, digital learning, digital platforms, IoT, and new space technologies. The fund’s typical check size is an initial €200K–€1M, with follow-on funding up to €4M per company. His background blends operating and investing experience, including Peace Corps work, co-founding a sustainable construction company, and serving as an economist at the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
