Ornit Shinar is Founder and Managing Partner at Sanchi Capital, an early-stage venture firm she launched after leading global venture investing for Citi Innovation Labs and Citi Ventures in Israel. She focuses on fintech, data and analytics, cybersecurity, AI and other infrastructure technologies, typically backing Seed to Series B companies with checks in the roughly $1M to $20.0M range. Her track record includes building Citi’s Tel Aviv innovation presence and running its accelerator programs that connected global financial institutions with Israeli startups. Earlier in her career she worked in corporate and legal roles and co-founded Yazamiyot, a leading network for women entrepreneurs, which keeps her closely connected to diverse founding teams.
