Omri Barzilay is a Principal at Peak State Ventures, an early-stage venture firm focused on the future of work, fintech, proptech and related data/AI infrastructure. He typically invests between $1M and $15.0M, with a sweet spot around $5.0M, backing Seed and Series A/B companies in areas such as analytics, AI, cloud infrastructure, proptech, construction tech, fintech, web3/crypto, digital health and the creator economy. Before joining Peak State, he founded Propcy, a machine-learning real estate investment platform, and set up the Migdalor Foundation, the Israeli Naval Academy alumni association. He previously worked as an algorithmic trader, served seven years as a missile ship chief engineer in the Israeli Navy, and has written for publications like Forbes and TechCrunch.
