About Investor

Nobuhiro Seki is a founding partner and hardware-focused seed investor at Monozukuri Ventures, a deep tech VC firm with offices in Japan, New York and Toronto that supports robotics and manufacturing startups. He typically invests $100K to $500K at pre-seed and seed in hardware, robotics, IoT, transportation, manufacturing, construction tech and other deep tech sectors, often helping startups with prototyping, mass production and cross-border manufacturing connections. His earlier career includes serving as Executive Vice President and General Manager Japan, and later President and CEO, of Six Apart/Movable Type, after starting out as an editor at Nikkei Computer; he holds a BS in engineering from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business.
