Nikolay Golubev is a Managing Director at Strategic Value Partners (SVP) in London and co-leads the firm’s European Real Estate efforts. His investing focus is European real estate through special situations and complex capital structures, spanning opportunistic credit and private equity style opportunities. SVP is a global alternative investment firm focused on special situations and opportunistic strategies, managing $22 billion in assets and having invested more than $55 billion since inception. He previously served as a Partner on Bain Capital’s Special Situations team in Europe, with earlier roles at Apollo and Merrill Lynch (where he began his career in real estate principal investing).
