Nathan Harrell is Managing Director and Co-Head of the Portfolio Group at Monroe Capital in Chicago. His investment activity is associated with $2.0M–$15.0M financings across sectors such as digital health, health IT, health & hospital services, fintech, retail, media/content and real estate/proptech, spanning early- to growth-stage private-credit style transactions, particularly in the U.S. Midwest. At Monroe he co-leads the portfolio group responsible for underwriting, monitoring and managing loans and structured solutions across the firm’s credit funds. Previously he was Assistant Vice President at Deerfield Capital Management and held roles at Pangaea Asset Management and CapitalSource Finance, after starting his career as a middle-market underwriter at JPMorgan Chase. He earned a B.A. from the University of Chicago.
