Mona Alsubaei is a Partner at Transition and previously served as an Analyst on the investment team at Union Square Ventures, where she focused on early-stage investments in Retail, SMB Software, TransportationTech, and Media/Content, typically at Seed and Series A stages with investment ranges between $5.0M and $20.0M. Before her venture capital career, Mona worked at CrossBoundary, an emerging markets investment advisory firm, where she expanded the firm’s presence in the Middle East and Central Asia. She began her professional journey in policy and international economics at the United Nations, building a global perspective across eight countries. Mona holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree from King AbdulAziz University, reflecting her deep expertise in both finance and international policy.
