Mikihiro Yasuda serves as a General Partner at Hike Ventures, focusing on investments in local services, advertising, payments, food and beverage, agtech, IoT, AI, e-commerce, marketplaces, and SaaS sectors. He typically invests at the pre-seed and seed stages with an investment range of $50K - $1M. Yasuda is a trained executive and entrepreneur who started his career as a programmer and built expertise in company growth and VC investment. He led executive roles in tech companies such as Netscape and was a member of the Board of Director for several companies. He was a board member and CTO/COO at Kakaku.com where he built the tech team and led new business developments, and later joined DeNA San Francisco where he led its early-stage investment. He holds a BS from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from McGill University.
