Mike Volpi serves as a Partner at Index Ventures where he invests primarily in artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and open-source companies across various stages including Seed, Series A, and Series B, with typical investments ranging from $100K to $2.0M. His verified work background includes joining Index Ventures in 2009 to establish the firm's San Francisco office and North American operations after serving as Chief Strategy Officer and SVP/GM of Cisco's routing business. At Cisco, Volpi managed a P&L of over $10 billion in revenues and was responsible for the acquisition of over 70 companies.
