Michael Serotte is Immigration Partner at Unshackled Ventures and the founding partner of Serotte Immigration Law. Through Unshackled, he is involved in $200K to $400K seed and Series A investments in immigrant-founded startups, including legaltech companies building tools for immigration and cross-border work. He has practiced US immigration law since the early 1990s and serves as immigration counsel to Stanford’s StartX and GSB, Duke’s entrepreneurship programs, and accelerators such as Alchemist and Founder Institute. His legal background and focus on immigrant entrepreneurs make him a specialist resource for founders dealing with visa and mobility issues.
