Michael Margolis serves as a UX Research Partner at GV (Google Ventures), focusing on investments in messaging, AI, robotics, security, consumer internet, enterprise, FinTech, health IT, health & hospital services, and SaaS sectors. He typically invests at the seed, Series A, and Series B stages with an investment range of $250K - $50.0M. Margolis joined GV in 2010 as the venture industry's first UX research partner and has conducted over 275 research studies for GV startups, including Slack, One Medical, StockX, Flatiron Health, Foundation Medicine, Gusto, Bluebottle Coffee, Nest, Lime, and Uber. He has over 30 years of experience as a UX researcher, helping portfolio companies accelerate their learning and de-risk their decisions as they grow. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in anthropology from Stanford University.
