Mehrad Yaghmai is the Managing Partner and founding partner of Cool Climate Collective, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He invests in early‑stage ventures—particularly in Material Science, Hardware, Food & Beverage, AgTech, ConstructionTech, Smart Cities/UrbanTech, ClimateTech/CleanTech, DeepTech, Supply Chain Tech, and BioTech—across Pre‑seed and Seed stages, with a range of $50 K–$250 K and a sweet spot near $100 K. His background includes co‑founding the EdTech startup Qureos, serving as Program Director for Terra.do’s Climate Change for VCs program, and extensive work in global startup ecosystems—especially in MENA‑based accelerators and academic innovation communities.
