Max-Julian Kaye is a Principal at Battery Ventures in Boston, where he focuses on industrial technology and life-science tools. He typically invests $250K–$60.0M, with a sweet spot around $20.0M, primarily in late-stage software, industrial-tech and life-science tools companies via growth-equity, buyout, carve-out and take-private transactions. His current work includes investments such as Proemion, LI-COR and VertiGIS, and he previously helped with CAMBRIO (acquired by Sandvik). He joined Battery in 2014 as an analyst and has grown within the firm’s industrial-tech and life-science practice. Max-Julian graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business with a BS in business administration, concentrating in finance.
