About Investor

Mathias Vinther is a Partner at Forbion Capital Partners' Growth Fund, a leading European life sciences venture capital firm managing over €2 billion across multiple fund strategies. He joined Forbion in March 2022 as Principal and was subsequently promoted to Partner. He previously spent six years at Novo Ventures (2016-2022) as a Senior Associate, where he led due diligence on a dozen biotech companies across Europe, including success stories such as Therachon (acquired by Pfizer) and NBE Therapeutics (acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim), as well as four NASDAQ IPOs. He holds a PhD in Nanomedicine (Immunotherapy and Drug Delivery) from Aarhus University, having also studied at UC Berkeley and as a Visiting Graduate Research Scholar at Harvard Medical School. He is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
