Matt Popoli serves as the Global Head of Insurance at Bain Capital, where he focuses on insurance industry investments with typical investment ranges between $100K and $5.0M. He joined Bain Capital in 2021 and has more than 20 years of experience investing in the insurance industry and building leading insurance businesses. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Matt founded Insurance Capital Group, an insurance-focused permanent capital vehicle, and earlier in his career was a Partner and Member of the Investment Committee of Reservoir Capital Group, where he led the firm's financial services investing activities.
