Matt Penneycard is a founding partner at Ada Ventures, a pre-seed inclusive venture firm backing European founders building companies around climate equity, economic empowerment, and healthy ageing. Ada invests early, before clear product-market fit, and writes £250k to £1mn checks, with newer fund coverage describing investments between £250K and £1.5m. Penneycard co-founded Ada in 2018 with Check Warner and leads the firm’s climate equity work. Before Ada, he spent years investing across private equity and venture capital in London and New York.
