Mati Barbero is a Venture Partner at 500 Global and an LP and investor based in Florida. He invests across fintech, education technology, healthtech and biotech with an impact orientation, climate tech, cleantech, agtech and sustainability tech, B2B SaaS, and other impact driven technologies, participating from pre seed through Series A. His typical investment range is $250K to $1M. Barbero has been active in the Latin American and US startup ecosystems as both an operator and investor, supporting founders building mission driven technology companies. He is known for backing early stage teams focused on scalable solutions to financial inclusion, sustainability, and digital transformation challenges.
