Mathias Flattin is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Crayon Partners in Paris, France, a pan-European real estate investment and asset management firm he co-founded in 2024 with Thibault Weston Smith. Crayon Partners backs innovative and emerging real estate operators in Europe through an OpCo-PropCo model, investing in rent-to-own, equity release, low-carbon data centres, and parking repositioning across France, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Previously, he was a Partner and Managing Director of PropTech & ConTech at Axeleo Capital (2020–2024), where he spearheaded Axeleo Proptech I — one of Europe's first PropTech funds (€40M) — and invested in 40+ startups across Europe. Prior to Axeleo, he spent 8 years as an Investment Manager at XAnge and began his career at BPI France. He holds a Master's in International Finance from Rennes Business School and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of St Étienne.
