Mark Toon previously served as CEO of KPMG Capital and was based in Houston. His investment focus covered Cloud Infrastructure, Mobility, and Enterprise technology companies, particularly at the Series A stage. In this role, he worked with businesses that had moved beyond initial product development and were preparing to accelerate commercial growth. His investment range was generally between $1M and $10M, with a preferred commitment of approximately $3M. As a lead investor, he helped evaluate opportunities, shape investment strategies, and connect portfolio companies with KPMG’s wider business network. His focus reflected the growing importance of data, connected transportation, and enterprise digital transformation. Through KPMG Capital, he supported companies building technologies with applications across major industries.
