Mark Goldberg is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Chemistry, a $350M early-stage venture firm leading seed and Series A rounds in enterprise, insurance, real estate/PropTech, and fintech. Before Chemistry, he was a Partner at Index Ventures for nearly a decade, leading early-stage investments in software and fintech, known for his "fintech re-bundling" thesis that consumer finance platforms will win by starting with current accounts and embedding payments and lending. Before Index, he was one of the first business hires at Dropbox, helping scale the company from 250 to 1,500+ employees. Earlier, he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley (working on Tesla's IPO) and led clean-tech investments at Hudson Clean Energy Partners. He holds a degree in International Relations from Brown University.
