Mariam Kamel is General Partner at LoftyInc Capital, a pan-African fund investing in early-stage tech startups, based in Dubai. She continues to oversee AUC Angels, the first university-based angel investor network in the Middle East and Africa, which she led to fund 14 startups and advise nearly a dozen others across fintech, e-commerce, health tech, and logistics. She is an investment professional with 15+ years of experience across the capital markets spectrum, beginning her career in Investment Banking advising mid- and large-cap companies on restructuring, M&A, and equity capital markets transactions. She co-founded FLOW, a wellness center. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University, a Masters in Public Policy from the American University in Cairo, and an MBA from London Business School, and is a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield School of Management.
