Malin Carlström is SVP (Northern Europe) at ABB Technology Ventures and is also described publicly as an Investment Director (Stockholm). She invests in deep-tech aligned with ABB’s industrial footprint, including robotics, industrial IoT, AI/ML, energy transition, cybersecurity, manufacturing, and electric mobility, and her activity spans Seed through Series B. Her listed investment range is $100K – $5.0M (sweet spot $1.5M). Before ABB, she worked in venture roles at Industrifonden and earlier in finance/investing roles (including SEB), giving her a blend of institutional VC and corporate-venture pattern recognition.
