Luke Evnin is an Advisor at MPM BioImpact (formerly MPM Capital), a leading life-sciences venture firm he co-founded in 1997 with Ansbert Gadicke, having stepped down from his full-time Managing Director role in 2023 to focus more on his multi-decade involvement with the Scleroderma Research Foundation, where he has served as Chairman since 2002. Over his 28-year venture career, he co-founded multiple MPM portfolio companies and served on the boards of over 30 public and private biotech companies, including as founding CEO and later Chairman of Werewolf Therapeutics and Chairman of Harpoon Therapeutics and Oncorus. Prior to co-founding MPM, he spent about seven years as a venture capitalist at Accel Partners, concentrating on biopharma, devices, and healthcare services. He holds an A.B. magna cum laude in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Francisco.
