Luke Evnin is a co-founder and Managing Director of MPM Capital (and related MPM BioImpact vehicles), a leading life-sciences venture firm investing globally from pre-seed through late-stage rounds. Within the $1M to $150.0M range, he focuses on company creation and scaling in biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, digital health, health IT and healthcare services. Over three decades he has co-founded multiple MPM portfolio companies and served on the boards of dozens of public and private biotechs, including roles as chair or founding CEO at firms like Werewolf Therapeutics and Harpoon Therapeutics. Prior to co-founding MPM in 1997, he spent about seven years as a venture capitalist at Accel Partners, concentrating on biopharma, devices and healthcare services. He holds an A.B. magna cum laude in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Francisco.
