Lukasz Garbowski is Chief Investment Officer at Btomorrow Ventures, the corporate venture arm of British American Tobacco, where he leads investments and ESG venturing. His investment activity focuses on tech- and data-driven consumer, health, and “future of retail” plays at pre-seed and seed through Series A, with typical tickets in roughly the $100K to $5.0M range. Previously he spent over a decade in M&A and private equity at Citi, Credit Suisse, Montagu Private Equity, and PwC, and he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School as well as dual master’s degrees in management and law from Warsaw institutions.
