Laurent Grill is a Partner at Luma Launch, an LA-based pre-seed fund that invests in both B2B and B2C companies with a particular interest in storytelling. He typically invests at the pre-seed and seed stages with an investment range of $100K - $250K, focusing on messaging, social commerce, SMB software, entertainment & sports, consumer health, media/content, e-commerce, marketplaces, enterprise, and SaaS sectors. Grill has a diverse entrepreneurial background, having co-founded companies including me so media (one of the first mobile music education companies) and Tiki (a video streaming platform), and has held operational roles at companies like Each Club and Zeal Massage, which informs his empathetic and candid approach to investing.
