Lauren Pugliese is Partner and Head of Nicholas Street Real Estate at McCarthy Capital (now operating under the M-One Capital brand), where she leads the firm’s real estate investment platform from Lincoln, Nebraska. She typically invests $100K to $5.0M, with a sweet spot around $1.5M, across pre-seed and seed through Series A in sectors including real estate/proptech, retail, consumer internet, media/content, SaaS, IoT and fintech, primarily in the US Midwest and broader US regions. Her background is in commercial real estate and structured finance, having started her career in Dallas with Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Cypress Equities and later originating and managing real estate investments for Ameritas and Nelnet before joining McCarthy Capital in 2022.
