Laura Chau is a Partner at Canaan Partners, focusing on investments in Consumer Internet companies at seed and Series B stages. Her investment range typically spans from $250K to $20M. Chau thinks about startups not just as businesses, but as carefully crafted works of art, focusing on consumer technology at Canaan. She previously worked in Deloitte's Strategy and Operations practice and has also worked in sales and marketing functions within Kabam (acquired by Netmarble), Branch Metrics, and Greenhouse, as well as working closely with Marie Kondo to launch the author's product business. She holds a B.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
