Kumar Sripadam is General Partner at Elevate Capital (elevate.vc), Oregon's first institutional venture capital fund specifically targeting underrepresented entrepreneurs — women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and veterans — investing $25K–$2M at seed and early stages in healthcare and technology. Elevate Capital launched Fund II targeting $40M in 2024 and invested $1.6M in 5 Oregon startups through a state-backed program in March 2025. Concurrently, Kumar serves as Chair of TiE Angels Silicon Valley at TiE Silicon Valley — the largest TiE chapter globally — a role he has held since 2004. He is also an Executive Committee Member at Arc Angel Fund (NYC). Kumar was a Founding Member of Redback Networks (NYSE IPO) and has invested in 70+ companies with many exits across a 30+ year career in Bay Area high-tech. He holds an MSEE from Southern Illinois University and is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
