Krisztina “Z” Holly is an Operating Partner at Good Growth Capital, investing from Los Angeles in complex science and technology startups. She focuses on deep tech across material science, medical devices, energy and climate tech, biotech, space, advanced manufacturing, AI and enterprise software, typically backing companies from pre-seed and seed through Series A with checks in the $100K–$2.0M range and a sweet spot around $500K. Earlier in her career she co-founded the telephony company Stylus Innovation, which was acquired by Artisoft, and worked with other tech and media startups. She later founded and led innovation centers at MIT (Deshpande Center) and USC (Stevens Center for Innovation), serving as USC’s first vice provost for innovation. Holly also created and hosted the first TEDx event (TEDxUSC), founded the manufacturing initiative MAKE IT IN LA, has advised national and global innovation bodies, and holds BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT.
