Kostas Alevizopoulos is a Partner at Ventac Partners, focusing on investments in medical devices, biotech, and diagnostics companies from seed through Series A stages, with investment ranges typically between $100K and $5.0M. He brings more than 20 years of corporate expertise in the development and commercialization of therapeutic, diagnostic, medical device and OTC products, and currently serves as the CEO of APIM Therapeutics, a cancer drug development company in phase 2 stage. Kostas has held positions including CSO of Gerolymatos International SA, CEO of Medexis SA, Head of Preclinical R&D of Biovista, Inc., and Head of R&D of Apotech Corporation. He received his biology degree from the University of Athens and PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Lausanne.
