Kimmy Paluch is the Managing Partner at Beta Boom, a Salt Lake City–based pre-seed and seed venture fund that invests in digital health, FinTech, future of work & education, enterprise applications, enterprise SaaS, and SMB software, with their most recent investment in HerHeadquarters. She co-founded Beta Boom after running a Silicon Valley innovation firm and working as a software engineer, and holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth along with an MBA from MIT Sloan. Prior to launching Beta Boom, she led software development teams and has been a vocal advocate for diversity in tech through initiatives like Project DEEP. Her background as the youngest child in a Jamaican immigrant family informs her focus on backing overlooked founders.
