Kevin Ober serves as a General Partner at 5G OI Lab, focusing on building the world's best ecosystem around edge computing. He typically invests at the pre-seed, seed, Series A, and Series B stages with an investment range of $100K - $1M, with a sweet spot of $500K. Ober has extensive experience investing in AR/VR, analytics, transportation tech, web3/blockchain, AI, robotics, security, cloud infrastructure, IoT, and space sectors. His past includes seven years at Vulcan Capital (Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's family office), where he invested $80 million. He holds an MBA in Business from Santa Clara University and a B.S in Finance from Saint John's University, and is connected to prominent investors including Brad Feld (Foundry Group) and David Cohen (Techstars).
