Kayla Kavanaugh serves as a Venture Partner at Afore Capital, a $500M pre-seed specialist that writes $500K-$1.2M checks to "pre-traction, pre-everything" founders before companies are even formed. She previously worked as an analyst at Grand Ventures based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis. Kayla has built a strong foundation in economics and political science, complemented by extensive experience in the venture capital industry, particularly in supporting product-oriented founders building software companies at the earliest stages.
