Katsumasa Niki is the President and CEO of DEEPCORE in Tokyo. He invests in AI, robotics, enterprise technology, and mobility companies from the Pre-seed stage through Series A. His investment work follows founders who use artificial intelligence and advanced engineering to reshape industries and create new digital services. Katsumasa typically invests between $350K and $3M, with a preferred ticket of approximately $1M. As a lead investor, he plays an active role in selecting startups and guiding them through their earliest stages. Through DEEPCORE, he helps technical entrepreneurs transform research, prototypes, and ambitious concepts into scalable companies.
