Kathryn Haun is the Founder of Haun Ventures, a firm focused on web3 and the future of finance. Haun says the firm backs founders from seed stage to scale, and in announcing the firm she wrote that Haun Ventures launched with a $500 million early-stage fund and a $1 billion acceleration fund to support the growth of web3. Before starting the firm, she was a federal prosecutor who created one of the government’s first cryptocurrency task forces, later joined Coinbase’s board, and then helped build Andreessen Horowitz’s crypto investing practice.
