Katharine Giles serves as Venture Partner at Brandon Capital Partners, a position she has held since 2012, specializing in biomedical innovation. She focuses on investments in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotech, education, health & hospital services, and therapeutics, typically investing at the seed and pre-seed stages with an investment range of $100K - $5.0M. Giles is also the MD/CEO of OncoRes Medical, a medtech start-up she founded in 2017, and previously worked as an Investment Manager with Perth-based Stone Ridge Ventures. She still practices as a medical doctor, mainly in surgery, with experience in clinical trials and critical care, and holds an MBBS (Hons), MBA, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
