Julieta Moradei serves as a Partner at Hometeam Ventures, a venture fund focused on early-stage construction tech startups. She typically invests at the pre-seed, seed, and Series A stages with an investment range of $500K - $1M, focusing on impact, insurance, real estate/prop tech, construction tech, legal tech, smart cities/urban tech, supply chain tech, SaaS, and FinTech sectors. Moradei is a founding member of Hometeam Ventures, overseeing dealflow and operations, and has a background as Head of R+D at New Story and as an engineer at Arup. She holds an M.S. in structural engineering from UC Berkeley and a bachelor's in structural engineering and architecture, with experience in developing innovative solutions in affordable housing, including spearheading the world's first 3D printed housing community.
