About Investor

Julie Weber is COO and general partner at The Helm, an early-stage venture fund and angel network investing in companies founded by women, with a particular focus on healthcare and sustainability. She oversees the fund’s operational and financial infrastructure while sourcing and evaluating investments and supporting portfolio companies. Before venture capital, she worked across global media, advocacy, and operations, and she began her career at the United Nations focused on women’s health and global funding initiatives. At The Helm, she helped scale the operating platform from a team of two to 12 and led the successful acquisition of its ecommerce marketplace in 2021.
