Julie Lein is a Managing Partner at Urban Innovation Fund, focusing on investments in GovTech, travel, food and beverage, transportation tech, real estate/PropTech, energy tech, IoT, and education companies from pre-seed through seed stages, with investment ranges typically between $250K and $500K. She is a co-founder of the firm and previously co-founded Tumml, a startup hub for urban tech. Julie began her career working in political polling and consulting, earned her MBA from MIT Sloan and BA from Stanford, and has been featured in numerous press outlets including CNN and The San Francisco Chronicle for her work supporting the urban entrepreneurship ecosystem.
