Josh Plavner is a Principal at Bain Capital Partnership Strategies in Boston. He invests in GP stakes and partnership-oriented vehicles, and also participates in selective early-stage and growth co-investments across insurance, real estate/proptech, biotech, e-commerce, enterprise applications, fintech and health IT, typically in the $100K–$5.0M range with a sweet spot around $1.5M. His work blends manager-level investments with direct exposure to operating companies. He previously worked at White Elm Capital and Goldman Sachs, and holds an economics degree from Yale and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
