Joseph Ansanelli serves as a Partner at Greylock, focusing on investments in Analytics, Developer Tools, Data Services, BioTech, Hardware, Enterprise, Marketplaces, Media/Content, Security, and SaaS companies at Series A and Series B stages. His investment range typically spans from $4M to $40M. Ansanelli joined Greylock in 2012 as a General Partner focused on security, emerging mobile applications, and enterprise solutions. He is an entrepreneur who has founded three successful companies: Vontu (acquired by Symantec for $350M), Connectify (acquired by Kana), and Trio Development (acquired by Apple). Since leaving Symantec, he has invested in several early-stage enterprise SaaS, mobile, and security companies and has taken active roles including as Chairman of Lookout.
