About Investor

Jonathan Meltzer is Co-Portfolio Manager of the TPG Private Markets Fund and Portfolio Manager at iCapital, a platform providing access to private equity and alternative investment opportunities. He previously spent several years as Managing Partner at Chestnut Street Ventures, part of Alumni Ventures, focused on the Penn alumni ecosystem, investing in Developer Tools and Space companies at Series B, with checks between $50K and $10M. He has almost 20 years of investment experience, having previously managed over $300 million of venture capital, private equity, and credit investments at a $1 billion single-family office, and invested throughout the capital structure of private companies at Ulysses Management and American Capital. He began his career as an investment banker at Wasserstein Perella and Goldman Sachs. He holds a BS in Economics cum laude from Wharton and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School.
