John Paul "JP" Chilazi is a Managing Director in Bain Capital's Strategic Capital Group in Boston. He joined Bain Capital in 2013 and was previously a member of the North America Private Equity team, focusing on investments in the Healthcare vertical, where he was promoted through Associate, Vice President, and Principal before becoming Managing Director in December 2023. He also served as a Director on the board of Kestra Medical Technologies from 2017 to 2025. Prior to Bain Capital, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, focusing on strategy and operations across various industries. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and graduated cum laude with an AB in Economics from Harvard College.
