John Lyman is a Partner at GV (Google Ventures), focusing on investments in E-commerce, Enterprise, Marketplaces, and Social Networks companies at Series A and Series B stages. His investment range typically spans from $250K to $50M. Lyman invests in both early and later stage consumer and enterprise companies and serves as a board director or observer at companies like StockX, Stockwell, Podium, Brandless, Blavity, and Gametime. Prior to joining GV, he spent almost a decade at Google managing partnerships and marketing teams, and before Google focused on progressive public policy and advocacy, helping launch the Clinton Global Initiative and working at the Center for American Progress.
