Johannes Grefe is a Managing Director at Summit Partners in London, where he is part of the Growth Products & Services team. His investing centers on European business & financial services and related growth-stage companies, with typical Series A and Series B checks in the $5.0M–$50.0M range across sectors such as education, financial services, fintech, healthcare and digital infrastructure. He has served on or supported boards including GRESB, Simply.TV, Certania and other European growth platforms. Before Summit, he worked at Vitruvian Partners, TA Associates and Lazard, and he holds an MSc in industrial engineering from the University of Karlsruhe and an MS in engineering management from Portland State University.
