Johanna Posada is founder and managing partner at Elevar Equity, where she leads the firm’s investing strategy and priorities in Latin America. Elevar focuses on financial inclusion, education, healthcare, agri-supply chains, and MSME solutions, and says its check sizes range between $2Mn and $5Mn for seed to Series A round. Posada has more than 20 years of experience in emerging markets investing, corporate finance, and economics. Before co-founding Elevar in 2008, she worked as an economist at the Central Bank of Mexico, held finance roles at ExxonMobil, and helped raise the Unitus Equity Fund.
