About Investor

Joachim Laqueur is General Partner at 432 Legacy in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He was previously Co-Founder and General Partner at Acrobator Ventures (founded with Bas Godska), a pre-seed and seed fund investing in Eastern European and Dutch tech founders building bridges to Western markets, with offices in Amsterdam and Kyiv/Tbilisi. Acrobator focused on infrastructure, market-enabling fintech, compliance, and AI/ML. He also served as Member of the Supervisory Board at the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) from 2023 to 2025. Before Acrobator, he founded multiple ventures (some failed): a Red Bull beverage competitor launch in Italy, a biofuel production factory in Austria, turnarounds of two companies from bankruptcy in the Netherlands, and advised MVP-stage startups in Portland, Oregon. He grew up in a VC environment — his father and a partner founded the first venture capital investment firm in the Netherlands. He completed Executive Education in Strategy at Columbia Business School (2005).
