Jillian Williams is Co-Founder and Partner at Field Ventures, a New York-based early-stage venture firm she co-founded focused on fintech and vertical SaaS — particularly companies democratizing financial services and serving underrepresented founders and communities. She previously was a Partner at Cowboy Ventures (seed-stage VC, $93M+ fund), where she led investments in Basata, CapStack Technologies, Continuum, and Portex. Before Cowboy, she spent 5 years at Anthemis (early-stage fintech VC) leading investments in Atomic, Maxwell, Pipe, Power, and TrueLayer. She also served as a solo GP at Screendoor and began her career at J.P. Morgan (investment banking) and Thomson Reuters (corporate development). Named Forbes 30 Under 30 in Venture Capital (2021) and Venture Capital Journal Rising Star. She co-heads the NYC chapter of BLCK VC (non-profit advancing Black investors) and has created fellowships to move Black professionals from finance into VC. Jillian holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and is a lifelong New Yorker and avid runner.
